Yahoo violations?
Yahoo sent me an email for violating their guidleines, deleted an answer I had posted, and deducted 11 points. There email gave no information other than I had violated Yahoo Guidelines. I questioned this decision and sent Yahoo an email requesting more specifics as to what I had written and what guideline I had violated since I was sure I had violated anything.

Anyone able to shed any light on this? Does Yahoo actually investigate reports of abuse or just delete your answer or question, deduct points, and send you an email anytime someone hits the REPORT buttom?

and it was granted in your favor as you obtained the points back

It means Yahoo! will take a second look into your violation to the Community to ensure you were rightfully punished. However, you do not lose points for answers or questions that violate Yahoo! anymore, unless you appeal and lose the case.
Also, Yahoo! does look into violation notice. Many people claim there is an automatical machine that send you violation notice, which is not true. It is a REAL Human being that sends you the violation notice VIA Email, for the new moderation system is Beta and requires attention for now.

I have two e-mail addresses tied to my Yahoo Login ID.
One is private address.
Other is Small Business Yahoo address.
When I install Yahoo Mobile Mail, I can access only the mail from my private Yahoo address.

I pay-for-click with yahoo, as if that is not enough, yahoo is using my domain search to advertise its websites, and aloud others to do so as well.

What a bunch of crap. Anyone giving Overture/Yahoo pay per clikc money is throwing it out the window. It is so out of control over there. My account is offline since I learned of these kinds of practices. I am MAD and I am feeling ripped off.
If I buy a product I expect to know what I am getting. If you are not careful with Overture/Yahoo you get promoted in these ways. I recommend you go back to a system of exact matching and NEVER let Yahoo! blanket match or content match for you, it's insane!
To go a step further, Yahoo! has forsaken its roots as a search engine. I love their software but their core was search engine. I have many entries in the directory, it used to be this was a good thing. They cost me 300/yr. Noe for this about one would expect some value in the search results of their web results especially when their web results have no good answers. You value as a URL in their directory buys you NOTHING. It is completely outragious because it used to hailed as the best hand editied reference and now is blown away with web results in its place that are often POOR results.
If you're listening NEO (YAHOO!) your network is crashing and you need to stop bleeding the pay-per-click world for you mistakes. Go back to your roots, learn from your mistakes. Oh yeah, continue to make the software, I like the messenger but not the widget engine.

I enjoyed many great features in yahoo go 1.x. But i am not really satisfied with Yahoo go 2.0. Really surprised that yahoo messanger is totally missing in Yahoo go 2.0. Messanger feature was really an excellent gift for me in yahoo go 1.x. I had loved yahoo go 1.x. But there is nothing much to say about yahoo go 2.0. Whats your opinion?

Yahoo groups without owners/moderators?
My old Yahoo identity (profile) was disabled after one of my Yahoo groups was closed. As a result, I was locked out of access to several other of my groups (such as: http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/WGN_Mem... ), so now new members cannot be added nor can any messages get processed. Yahoo keeps sending me e-mails letting me know about new membership applications (to this and some of my other groups I've been locked out of) but I cannot do anything about them. Has anyone here been able to figure out who at Yahoo to contact about re-gaining ownership access?
There are lots and lots and lots of Yahoo groups floating out there in limboland which are occupying a lot of memory on Yahoo's servers. Many of them might have been abondoned -- but many more have had their owners/moderators locked out such as myself. Your suggestions will be most helpful.

The only thing we can do is to keep complaining to them and making suggestions on how to make ownership of these abandoned groups easier so that they aren't abandoned or get removed so that they don't take up space.

Yahoo thinks my email address is spam but ONLY if it comes from AAPT mail server??
Recently friends say their emails from me @yahoo.. and @aapt..
are going in their Bulk folders when using Yahoo mail.
Originally I thought Yahoo was seeing my Yahoo address as spam but after experimenting I,ve found that any mail sent via my AAPT smpt server goes to their Bulk file.
Also if I send mail from aapt's web mail page my mail goes to the Bulk file.
If I send mail from another ISP of directly from Yahoo's web mail page it goes to the In Box.
aapt are looking at this but think its Yahoos fault. The question is why does Yahoo think any mail sent from AAPT is spam (either through outlook express or aapts web mail page)??

hi - sorry don't have technical info but can tell you my aunt had the very same problem. She also contacted AAPT and they told her the same thing.
funny thing about that was that when she stopped using AAPT altogether all her problems stopped. So maybe your answer lies in that. Try not using AAPT for a while. See what happens.
