Error Page not Found Yahoo 360?
For months now I have been trying to get on to Yahoo 360.
I used to have a personal photo as an avatar. Then several months ago it disappeared. I thought Yahoo was revamping and tried to fix my avatar/photo.
All I really am trying to accomplish is to have a personal photo as my avatar.
When I go to Yahoo 360 all I get is the error page.

No matter what I have tried I can not get to my Yahoo 360 page.
I tried going through Yahoo, but did not get an answer.
I have looked here for other fixes, tried typing in yahoo.com plus my name and got this message

Yahoo Market cap is 36.9B, Google Market cap is 163.56B, Why is Yahoo so worthless?
A couple of months ago I asked why Google was worth three times what Yahoo is worth. Now Google is worth 4.4 times what Yahoo is worth.
At the time it looked like Yahoo might be a better long term investment, but, Yahoo has gone down and Google has gone up.
In fact the one year trend is slightly down on Yahoo and the one year trend is up on Google.
Anyone have any reasons why Yahoo is worthless?
I am still watching for a good buy point, after a three month up trend and I have not been able to catch one.

Comparing an older, well established company with a new one that is still growing is not a fair comparison.
I am not saying that Yahoo is a bad investment. I am just saying that it has limited growth potential. They need a product to set itself farther apart from Google before they see growth again.

Reply:its not that its worthless, it has just been poorely managed. they recently got a new ceo. they are not what we would call "cool" anymore either. whenever you want to search for something you say ill google it. they have made a name for themselves such as apple has done with the ipod. when you here kids talk about mp3 players they dont say mom i want a samsung mp3 player, instead its more like i want an ipod. they have established brand recognition and are the cool the to have/do. google has also been buying tons of companies recently. they are not very profitable right now, but in the long term they will be huge profit makers in my opinion. google also has a lower p/e, i think, havent looked at it in a while. that means its technically a cheaper company than yahoo.

I have recently posted quite legitimate questions on Yahoo!Answer (to be clear: 1. These questions were posed in English. 2. I am a US based user of Yahoo e-mail and Yahoo!Answer.)
My questions were erased by Yahoo! Germany.
I have replied to the sender (de.Yahoo!) and asked for an explanation. None received!
Wat can I do to prompt Yahoo! to inform me of the nature of the alleged "Community Guidelines" infringement and provide me with an explanation why Yahoo! Germany (??) decided to erase my question?

I've ended up in UK, Australia, etc. So, it may be that you accidentally posted to the wrong site -- and posting in English on the German site is considered a violation. However, I would still appeal it, since it may well have been a mistake.

All of the Yahoo sites are very slow, it must be related to the changes Yahoo is force feeding their Users. Classic view email no longer autopopulates and forwards isn't working, it's also extremely slow. The new Yahoo email is extremely slow and forwards does not work here either - the email body disappears. The print remains tiny even if I make it larger. Also in the new Yahoo you can't get rid of the annoying advertising panes on the right of the email view. If you close it and switch to compose or another folder it pops back up with every change. Some forwarning of the change would have been good. Yahoo makes it hard to get customer support as well. I've had my Yahoo account since 2000, if things don't improve I may have to change to MSN hotmail. There are more important things in life and email is a privilege, however, I rely on email every day to share information and stay in touch with family %26amp; friends. Not happy!!!

I've had yahoo for YEARS and today it suddenly changed to "New Yahoo", at least I think. Now I cannot get into my mail.

Reply:Yahoo mail can't be switched without your approval, but as you say that it was changed without notice, this means that you accidentally clicked the confirmation button on the switch to yahoo plus form...
Inside your e-mail, search for a "switch to yahoo classic" button, if you don't find it, type "switch to yahoo classic" in the yahoo search bar..
If you failed to switch back to yahoo classic, send me a message if you want and I'll try to help you more...

My first question is what is the messenger on yahoo main page for?
i thought it is just to check who is online, since we cant through it.
but i observed that when i sign-in from yahoo main page and move the cursor on the messenger it shows no friends online.
but when i open yahoo messenger it shows some of my friends online.
then why the same friends are not seen as online on yahoo main page?
i am using internet explorer 6.0
does anyone have an idea what is the messenger on yahoo main page actually for if it can show the friends who are online.

Yahoo Canada page loads when I click the Yahoo icon in my toolbar?
When I click the Yahoo icon in the Yahoo toolbar on the top of my page, it takes me to the Yahoo Canada page. I'm in the US. I have yahoo.com selected as my homepage, and that works fine unless I click the Yahoo icon on my toolbar, then it take me to the Canada page. I click on that icon regularly whenever I want to go to Yahoo. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all!
People w/ yahoo addresses are not receiving emails from my yahoo address. Started weekend of 6/16-17/2007. I sent an email to 4 people w/ 5 attached pics (house construction). Never received by yahoo email addresses but received by a juno account holder.
Since then, a specific yahoo email account recipient simply is not receiving my yahoo emails (my dad)....it is not going into his bulk or spam folder either
As the sender, I'm not receiving any error or bounce back messages....any ideas?

When I have Yahoo Messenger open and deactive, it will automatically become an active window.
For example, I'll be typing something in an internet browser and then all of a sudden Yahoo Messenger becomes the active window. Then I will click back to the internet browser and continue typing and then all of a sudden Yahoo Messenger becomes the active window. Even when I'm Instant messeging a friend, while I'm typing after the the third letter I type, The IM window deactivates and Yahoo Messenger friend list becomes active.
I know for sure it is Yahoo messenger because the problem does not persist when it is closed.
I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it but I still get the same problem.

Yahoo email account used in credit card fraud?
Someone stole my credit card and made a purchase online, they used my personal information, except they created their own yahoo email account to use in the registration. Who do I report this to at yahoo? Do they care? Can I get the ip address used to register the email account and forward it to my credit card company, since most credit card fraud is never pursued by card companies? I already cancelled the planned vacation for these fraudsters in Ireland, now I'd like to see them caught. The yahoo email address used by them was onola2000@yahoo.com

Contact your bank, contact yahoo and tell them that the account was made in your name and was used for a fraudulent purpose and then ask them to try and track them down. It should not take long for them to track them down although the person using the internet could have used an IP hider to prevent any websites from gaining their IP addresss. Hope crime does pay

Usually anyhting over $50.00 you're not responsible for. yYu might be surprised at how vigorously card company fraud is looked into. I'm sure Yahoo cares. As to where to go I wish I could be of help. these are the do-or-die yahoo employees, most of them are hard working people, but the scumbags that work for yahoo, those that play god on the Q%26amp;A sites or those that disrupt peoples personal computers mainly because they can, using the powerful yahoo servers, are the ones that will remain because they know that no other decent company would want them working for them, and no other company would tolerate their illegal behavior with their clients, these scumbags will hang on to the last second, like rats on a sinking ship, scumbags like a supervisor named Shah who must be a refugee from the human race that has found a home with Yahoo.com.

I tried uploading one from my comp, in JPEG format. Didn't show up. It shows up on my Yahoo 360 page, but according to Yahoo Answers: " 360 nickname not found: Get my Yahoo! 360 account now!"

I even tried to use my avatar, but it won't change from the default one they give you. When I go to edit it, it's fine and saved and all, but on Answers, it doesn't show up.
Does anyone have any ideas or help?

I've first encounter this kind of stuff, 2 days ago when my Yahoo ID Cant Login in Yahoo Messenger but i can use my Yahoo ID in Web Base Messenger. so i take a look at my Add Remove Program at The Control Panel and i Saw that. so i uninstall it.
i formated my System again today. and i install Yahoo Messenger 9 again and...!!
i saw that malicious again.. oohhh... I think the latest installer or patch of Yahoo Messenger 9 has a Bug or a Virus

This is getting interesting: my primary yahoo account (.....@yahoo.com) suddenly became inaccessible a few days ago, after a security breach on my PayPal account. I figured it was the same hacker/cracker, and I attempted to re-open it using all the usual methods - none of which worked. All the security information was rejected as being inaccurate. Even the people on the phone at Yahoo were totally negative: there seemed to be no way for me to get back into my own account!
Next, and after several fruitless days of negotiation with Yahoo, and using a secondary yahoo account, I posted an in-your-face question about the possibility of hacking into my own primary yahoo account to regain access to it, right here on Yahoo's own help forum (see question posted by 'ryyannon').

First off what do you use yahoo on, a COMPUTER. Yahoo wouldent need people to send e-mails to others to figure out who was using their service computers do that. In fact they can probaly monitor anyone at any time.
Second, Yahoo will close out an account due to inactivity but only after about a year. This is due to the fact that some people creat accounts and end up using another server or start a new account because the old one is filled with junk mail. And, by inactivity I mean someone who never logs in to their account. E-mails sent to you dont mean jack S#!T we already have spam to do that for us.
This is nothing more than an internet chain letter sent by someone really STUPID.

below were sent to me by support from where email is not being forwarded from to my yahoo mail plus. How do I get yahoo to accept forwarded mail?
I know Yahoo has blocked emails that were being redirected/forwarded from other accounts before. If Yahoo chooses to not let the email come in, then it's a Yahoo issue rather than an our issue. Basically, you can setup the email to forward from us, but there's no guarantee that Yahoo will accept it when it comes in...

Yahoo groups without owners/moderators?
My old Yahoo identity (profile) was disabled after one of my Yahoo groups was closed. As a result, I was locked out of access to several other of my groups (such as: http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/WGN_Mem... ), so now new members cannot be added nor can any messages get processed. Yahoo keeps sending me e-mails letting me know about new membership applications (to this and some of my other groups I've been locked out of) but I cannot do anything about them. Has anyone here been able to figure out who at Yahoo to contact about re-gaining ownership access?
There are lots and lots and lots of Yahoo groups floating out there in limboland which are occupying a lot of memory on Yahoo's servers. Many of them might have been abondoned -- but many more have had their owners/moderators locked out such as myself. Your suggestions will be most helpful.

Yahoo warning, a confusion?
I have received a notification from Yahoo that I have violated the accounts terms hence next time my account can be deleted. But reason for it has not been given.
What comes to my mind is that perhaps, repeat perhaps, it could be that I posted some videos clips regarding breastfeeding (children) or milking boobs small clips but mostly taken from the Yahoo search engines and added on my Favourtine. If it is the reason then my mind is confused. Reason being I marked these videos as "private". Secondly Yahoo itself is full of more adult items in its search and yahoo system for example Yahoo Groups have more dirty adult groups. So I wonder why my simply posting some video clips taking directly from Yahoo search itself or from Yahoo listings themselves can become a cause of cancellation of account.
Can anyone guide please.

Yahoo Messenger says I have new mail, but Yahoo Mail inbox shows no new mail. Anyone help here?
I continually get messages in Yahoo Instant Messenger - down at the bottom in the toolbar - that I have anywhere from one to six new e-mail messages in Yahoo Mail. But when I access Yahoo Mail, my inbox shows no new messages. I have addressed this subject at least five times with Yahoo itself and have never received a satisfactory answer, just "Thank you for contacting us. We are working on this problem and should have it resolved soon". How long is soon, I must have lost over 200 messages this way. Any suggestions from out there? Rather than trying to answer through here or Yahoo Mail, please respond to me at malcolmedwina@bellsouth, or if you use Yahoo Instant Messenger, send me your response there at buckster66. -Check the Spam box (even if it says no new mail).
-Refresh your Mail box again.

Reply:Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. If you look you will find lots of people cannot send/receive/delete mail at the moment. I was advised to uninstall Javascript and then reinstall the latest version. This worked for me. If it does not for you then apparently it's only in the beta version. Try returning to the Classic version for now. I am also told that the mail is in fact there in your box and is being sent. It's simply invisible in beta. Yahoo headlines used to be informative and interesting. Now they are like today's one "How do I get over him?" - what sort of dummie added that to the headline list. You are getting banal and empty, yahoo!
The other main headlines are heavily biased antiwar, antiBush, anticonservatism. Even if I agree with some of those positions, I would prefer to decide myself, instead of Yahoo (the provider of the news here) deciding before me and trying to bias.
Yahoo headline/story writers, this is a call to pull the tatters of your shameful journalistic selves together and try and improve - won't be hard since you have gotten so bad in the past year or so.
Having said that, I really like using the Yahoo. Of course I could just change, but speaking out is the only way to let Yahoo know (this is the only way to contact Yahoo with your opinion).

below were sent to me by support from where email is not being forwarded from to my yahoo mail plus. How do I get yahoo to accept forwarded mail?
I know Yahoo has blocked emails that were being redirected/forwarded from other accounts before. If Yahoo chooses to not let the email come in, then it's a Yahoo issue rather than an our issue. Basically, you can setup the email to forward from us, but there's no guarantee that Yahoo will accept it when it comes in...
