I continually get messages in Yahoo Instant Messenger - down at the bottom in the toolbar - that I have anywhere from one to six new e-mail messages in Yahoo Mail. But when I access Yahoo Mail, my inbox shows no new messages. I have addressed this subject at least five times with Yahoo itself and have never received a satisfactory answer, just "Thank you for contacting us. We are working on this problem and should have it resolved soon". How long is soon, I must have lost over 200 messages this way. Any suggestions from out there? Yahoo Messenger says I have new mail, but Yahoo Mail inbox shows no new mail. Anyone help here?
Actually, I think they are really trying to resolve this problem. Do the following:
-Check the Spam box (even if it says no new mail).
-Refresh your Mail box again.
When I register for membership for games and websites, when I use my Yahoo! email, it takes me around 3 days until it arrives. Maybe Yahoo! has some problems with recieving emails.
Reply:Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. If you look you will find lots of people cannot send/receive/delete mail at the moment. I was advised to uninstall Javascript and then reinstall the latest version. This worked for me. If it does not for you then apparently it's only in the beta version. Try returning to the Classic version for now. I am also told that the mail is in fact there in your box and is being sent. It's simply invisible in beta. Reply:Classic is the same James, Im in the United Kingdom, but I have a yahoo.com add usually we have yahoo.co.uk the uk addresses seem to be working. Nope my classic dont work.
