I received this email:
Dear YAHOO User,
%26gt;
%26gt; Because of the sudden rush of people signing up to YAHOO,
%26gt; it has come to our attention that we are vastly running out of
%26gt; resources. So, within a month's time,anyone who does not receive this
%26gt; email with the exact subject heading,will be deleted off our server.
%26gt; Please forward this email so that we know you are still using this
%26gt; account.
%26gt; We want to find out which users are actually using their
%26gt; YAHOO accounts. So if you are using your account, please pass this
%26gt; e-mail to every YAHOO user that you can and IF YOU DO NOT PASS this
%26gt; letter to anyone we will delete your account.
%26gt;
%26gt; From Mr. ALLEN SMITH
%26gt; YAHOO Admin. Dept.
%26gt;
%26gt; Our YAHOO system is getting to crowded!! We need you to forward
%26gt; this to at least 20 people. I know this seems like a large number, but
%26gt; we need to find out who is really using their account. If you do not
%26gt; send this to at least 10 YAHOO members, we will delete your account.
%26gt; Sorry for this inconvenience.
%26gt; Sincerely, Director of YAHOO Services
%26gt; BOB LOPEZ
%26gt;
Is yahoo really deleting those who do not use server off their server?
lol thats so fake
Reply:i got one of those about 3 years ago. nothing happened then.
Reply:I don't think so. I didn't recieve that in any of my two Yahoo! accounts and they're still pretty good. I think that one of your friends just made up that chain letter, or they got it from someone else who did.
Looking at your letter now, I remember getting a message from Mr. ALLEN SMITH, only I got it from my Frienster account and it said that Mr. ALLEN SMITH was the manager of Friendster. So whoever this guy is, those emails are definitely a hoax.
Reply:I think someone is pulling your leg!
