i've received this forwarded email in my mailbox this morning. is this for real?

Because of the sudden ru sh of people signing up to YAHOO, it has come to our attention that we are vastly running out of resources. So, within a month's time,anyone who does not receive this email with the exact subject heading,will be deleted off our server. Please forward this email so that we know you are still using this account.


We want to find out which users are actually using their YAHOO accounts. So if you are using your account, please pass this e-mail to every YAHOO user that you can and IF YOU DO NOT PASS this letter to anyone we will delete your account.

First off what do you use yahoo on, a COMPUTER. Yahoo wouldent need people to send e-mails to others to figure out who was using their service computers do that. In fact they can probaly monitor anyone at any time.





Second, Yahoo will close out an account due to inactivity but only after about a year. This is due to the fact that some people creat accounts and end up using another server or start a new account because the old one is filled with junk mail. And, by inactivity I mean someone who never logs in to their account. E-mails sent to you dont mean jack S#!T we already have spam to do that for us.





This is nothing more than an internet chain letter sent by someone really STUPID.
Reply:seems to me that this cannot be true - as I see some spelling errors and if this were actually true there are other ways they can tell who are using the accts.
