No more yahoo photos? what now? less services..flickr limited yahoo refund?hahaha?
Actually, if you have the at%26amp;t yahoo, verizon photos, your pro version that you paid for, pictures will not be deleted but I don't know if you are going to have any support tools or functions as Yahoo is getting rid of all photo associations. It could be 1 of those situations until the bill period is up.

And I agree with you, Yahoo dropped the ball with photos and simply have no idea of what they are going to lose. It wouldn't have been so bad if they had made drastic improvements to flickr before announcing the move but they have done nothing to flickr %26amp; they have had it for 2 years. Google got picasa %26amp; in 3 months turned it into 1 of the best on the net.

Anyway they are going to provide a download link its probably going to be trueswitch.com and yes photos is disappearing for good. There is no way to track photos in yahoo which flickr %26amp; other sharing sites provide. To me the best is Photobucket....

As for your paying for the "Pro Version", there is no "Pro version" of Yahoo! Photos. ALL Yahoo! Photos customers have free, unlimited photo storage. You are not losing a service that you paid for.

Additionally, Yahoo is giving you the option of having your photos automatically transferred to 1 of 5 different photo sharing sites. Several of which do have free, unlimited, photo storage, just like Yahoo!. While Flickr does have free unlimited storage, there is a daily bandwidth limit with a free account, and you can only see your last 200 uploaded photos. Therefore, if you choose Flickr, they will give you the first 3 months of Pro Service for free. I am already a paying Flickr account holder because it is a fantastic photo sharing site, and I feel that the approximately $2 a month that the pro service offers is well worth it.
