Problem of yahoo messenger?

Hey my yahoo messenger is not working properly. PC to PC call is not working. Any solution. Don't say to reinstall Yahoo messanger. This problem starts when I upgraded my yahoo messenger from "Yahoo messenger with voice 7.5" to "Yahoo messenger 8.0 (Beta). And in it I am unable to use similies or to make a call. I reinstall "Yahoo messanger 8.0 (Beta). But it does not help me. Now I want Yahoo messenger with voice 7.5. But when I installed it ohhh it becomes "Yahoo messenger with voice (Beta)" but it also does not help me. I delete from Add/Remove programs and reinstall yahoo messenger with voice 7.5 but again it was mixed with Beta. Now I want to uninstall my "Yahoo messenger with voice (Beta)" in such a way that it should be completely remove frm my computer. Please help me. Ofcourse First and detailed answer will be given as BEST ANSWER

Uninstal the Yahoo! Messenger completely and run RegSeeker to clean the registry.





Restart the system and then, install the Y!Msngr 8.....if it does not work, then do the above process and install stable version 7.5.

Reply:I also have that problem, but there is no cure of it. It is a beta version u know so certain things are not completed. To uninstall it completely, first uninstall using the standard method (from the control panel) then delete the directory C:\Program File\Yahoo!


then open Run in the start menu and type Regedit and delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yahoo and also delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Yahoo.


You will also have to uninstall any other Yahoo products like yahoo toolbar before that.

To uninstall yahoo completely, You need to deal with registry. If you know that then read the next section else you can use any software that optimize the registry.





Yahoo actually leaves some files in Windows root folder and a bit of registry entries that makes new Installation Beta. To uninstall it first thing to do is search for yahoo files in program files folder and delete those.





then open the registry editor using "Regedit.exe" command at run option of windows. now search for yahoo in Keys,Data and value and delete any entry related to yahoo messenger.





close registry refresh your system and then install you Yahoo 7.5 win\th voice.

Reply:See beta versions are under test so you can not thing of good performence from them. beta version can be harmful for your computers. they are not fully developed, you can uninstall all older messanges, and download fresh regular version of messanger from YAHOO. one more thing check your net speed slow speed can be one of the reason of problem
