Why yahoo threaten us to eliminate our account if we dont send a yahoo mail to others yahoo users?
its a spam message. Well it comes into my id as well, sent by few of my frnds who like to spam others emails addresses and messengers with this msg.

Reply:Contact Yahoo directly and explain what has happened to you. Yahoo is a business that makes money by getting people to join its system. Making it difficult for people to stay doesn't make sense. They may want a copy of the email sent to you so they can trace the sender.

i havent heard anything like this but have heard of loads of people saying it so i think its a common scam
as long as u send a email (not to them ..lol) now and again yahoo will keep your account open .

Reply:Yahoo will never threaten you with account closure just because you haven't sent email to other Yahoo account holders. You can send Yahoo email to whoever you like, not just Yahoo members. Your account can become dormant and subject to closure if not used over a 90 day period, but Yahoo will never ever threaten you with an account closure unless you've broken the Terms Of Agreement when you first opened your account. From what you say, it would appear that you've been spammed. If you have a copy of that notice, it would be advisable for you to send as much information as possible to Yahoo. If you can, be sure to send the 'headers' of that notice as well.
