Why did yahoo photo force us to start using a photo client?

I can't upload a picture on my yahoo profile. Foolish move on yahoo's part. Profile pictures were a nice feature. I feel this feature has been moved by yahoo because they don't know how to control Adult photo's. Another one of yahoo's lack of knowledge. And as far as finding this form to fill out any questions was a task in its self. I was very disappointed to find questions about anything and everything besides pertaining to yahoo. Yahoo forum should only be about yahoo, not about 911 and Saddam, about pregnacy questions, etc. How childish, obviously rediculas questions like that are from adolesents. I was under the impression Yahoo wasn't suppose to be used by anyone under 18.

Why did yahoo photo force us to start using a photo client?
#1: Yahoo bought "flickr" in 2005 because it was gaining popularity very fast, thus becoming one of Yahoo! photos' biggest competitors. Because it doesn't make much sense to keep 2 similar services running, Yahoo is shutting down Yahoo! photos in September in favor of flickr.

#2: Yahoo! questions %26amp; answers is not for adults only, you can sign up yourself if you are 13 yrs. old. And when parents open a family account, even younger children are able to participate. This is stated in the TOS, so users should know what awaits them in this forum.
