Yahoo search engines permit reading unpopular views. Hurrah! Why not the same policy in Yahoo Answers? Why do-

questions with unpopular points of view get deleted. Sometimes it is because a person is uncomfortable reading a certain point of view, and he can get you deleted by saying "It's not a question (or an answer)" which is usually nonsense. There are many ways to pose a question or phrase an answer.

The point is that a subject that is rightfully tolerated in Yahoo and other search engines, should not be deleted when it appears under Yahoo answers.

This is inconsistent policy by Yahoo where they do not allow you to delete from their search engine, but do allow you to get just about anything deleted from Yahoo Answers

How many of you are fair enough to agree that a policy of tolerance should be applied across the board?.

Remember: You may be a non-racist or a racist, a religious believer or an atheist, an abortionist or a non-abortionist and have your point of view deleted. WE ALL SUFFER if Yahoo has an inconsistent policy!

yes, some people have no sense of political humor or can tolerate satire!!!

but just because of their anal retentavive and ignorant behavior, they should have no power over anyone to cancel out others opinions!!

plus some people will get away with the same type of question wwhich might be worded in a slightly different way!!

this is a very biased form of censorship and the person that is offended by the content should just move on to the next question!!!

i mean geeez, people have fought for years for the right of free speech, or is Y/A in America run by the Chineese guy that i heard about that turned in a dissenter he found on the internet over in China???!!!
Reply:I was reluctant to even come here. I have several friends who have lost accounts because they just posted non P.C. answers or questions. I do believe that there are groups on both sides that may gang up on someone to report them for not agreeing with their side.
Reply:Yahoo answers is a website to ask and answers questions and share knowledge. This is not a political forum. If you want to express your views and opinions there are tons of political forums online. Yahoo answers isn't one of them. We all agree to follow the rules when signing up. Nobody forces anybody to join or to continue to participate. I entered this site as an adult and was asked to agree to a certain set of rules, I clicked I agree. So did you and everyone posting here. I'm a man of my word
