Yahoo groups and non yahoo members?

Hi, I’m going to set up a yahoo group for a small youth club, I wanted to know if I could get non yahoo account holders to also join the group. a small handful of people in the club don’t have yahoo accounts, I know that they can still get messages sent to a hotmail account, but is there any way for them to actually log in and look at all the features like "files", "calendar" etc without a yahoo id ?

I don’t want to make them sign up to yahoo but if it’s not possible can anyone think of another way to get us all able to see messages, photos and calendars without having to use lots of different programs.

Thanks

- free things are good, it’s a youth group and its non profit.

Yahoo groups and non yahoo members?
Any email account can join by sending an email to groupname-subscribe@yahoogroups.com (and unsubscribe similarly with groupname-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com). No Yahoo ID required.

You can set your archives to be available to anyone, so that they can access that without a Yahoo ID.

Links and Calendar can both be set to public, but polls, photos/files, and the database can only be used by logged-in Yahoo members.
Reply:non yahoo members can join, but their use of the group will be limited. they wont be able to use group features and in order to post, they'll have to do it from right off the group, not through e-mail
