Yahoo 360 shutting down ?
What other people call "closing", I call "reconstruction."
Yahoo has decided to combine it's 3 services (360, Mash, and the regular Yahoo Members Profile) that basically accomplish the same thing (i.e. telling the world about yourself) into one service. They just haven't pinned down the "how" of creating this "universal profile".
So, if there are things that you do like about Yahoo! 360 that you would like to see remain in tact, you should state those aspects on the Y!360 team's blog at http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 . That is also where you can read about the changes in store for Y!360. Please read the blog because there is no mention of making the new platform like MySpace or Facebook...again, assumptions are being made before anything actually happens.

Reply:Yes, that's what I am hearing as well! Which sucks because 360 was/is without a question the best blog site out there! I don't know where to go when they shut! Right now they're not even bothering to fix bugs that come up in the software. *sigh* Yahoo, wake up! There are tons of people who love 360.
Reply:it's a pretty lame site i think when there are better ones for networking life facebook.myspace. I think they have decided to give up
Reply:Yes it is, sadly. And I, like most people on here, hate myspace and facebook. Most of the 360 people have gone to multiply.com because it is easier than myspace and facebook. But still not as easy as 360.
We don't die, we multiply!
Reply:Is it??
Reply:Yes, this is what I have been reading lately. They it is shutting down.
